Wesleyan spirituality includes a particular method for growth in God’s grace (which is why Wesleyan Christians are often called Methodists).
“I’ll be praying for you!”
We use this phrase often, and that is not a bad thing. We are called to pray for each other, to “bear one another’s burdens” (Gal. 6:2). This is quite a calling and responsibility.
[The Word] is the food for the soul. Ezekiel said he took the roll and ate it.
"The Will of God." The phrase has a rather solemn ring to it, don't you think? Maybe it's because most disciples of Jesus Christ I know are striving to understand and earnestly seek the will of God.
